New Start~

I didn't realise how down I've been feeling lately due to my shitty relationship problems, now it's time to let it out. I don't care if no one reads this, I just need to vent.
Our relationship was awesome while it lasted. You drew me in, you kept me excited. I longed to talk to you every  hour and you were constantly on my mind. It was distracting to say the least. I completely loved the fact that you were a gamer and were trying hard to become a professional. I saw dedication - countless hours of laddering and whatnot, watching tournaments, doing whatever you could to improve. To this day, I still don't know what happened, but you just disappeared. You say you're still interested, but I don't believe that. You bailed out on me, in a cowardly manner too.
Of course, that cut me deep. For a while, I tried to keep quiet, to see if you would talk to me, message me..whatever. You never did. Little foolish things like watching a game of Starcraft, watching Day9 or certain songs would have my insides clench and hurt. I'm out of this one though, it's time to start new and fresh. As of now, I've already forgotten you, forgotten what we were involved in and learn from my mistakes.
Girls: Never get involved with a gamer ^___________________^( I'm actually kidding...but seriously, be careful :P)

"Seduction" Transformation

Heeeey :D
A friend suggested I did "seduction" as my second transformation. The main features for this one are sculpted cheekbones, smokey eyes and defined brows. Here it is!

I'm probably going to use this picture in my final body of work :P

 Or this one maybe...

Completely un-retouched :D
Two down, seven to go :3

Vampire Transformation~

My art project consists of using makeup as a medium, to transform myself into nine different people/creatures/characters. The reason for this is to show how the media is influencing today's young teenagers (mostly girls) to use makeup to change their physical appearance. This is a somewhat controversial topic, but ah well. .____.

The first transformation is vampire! This is just an experiment, but here goes:
Rawr~ Gay sparkly vampire ftw yeow.

Max Pure Browns Review (HoneyColor)

Information
Brand: EOS
Diameter: 14.5mm
Made in: South Korea
Base Curve: 8.8mm
Life Span: 1 Year

This is my second ever pair of circle lenses. I don't really like to wear lenses because most of the time they are uncomfortable and take too much effort to clean and soak every night...Not to mention poking at my eyeball every single morning.
But here is a review (finally) of the EOS Max Pure Browns I purchased a few months ago :)

These lenses are 14.5mm in diameter, which is the normal diameter for circle lenses, I think. They supposedly range from 14 to 15 or 16mm (which is completely ridiculous in my opinion..I mean come on, who wants eyes that look like they're popping out of your head). 14.5mm sits at just natural enough for every day wear.

Honeycolor has cute packaging. ^^ The lenses came in two vials, which were placed neatly into a small box (which prevented them from rolling around during shipping). There was also a lens case provided (which I don't use anyway..) which is always nice. Everything was securely bubble wrapped and placed into an envelope.

Instructions on the back of the box for anyone who hasn't had past experiences with wearing lenses before.

Yes, I am aware that my right eye is twice the power of my left...

These vials took forever for me to open >:U

After nearly cutting my fingers off trying to open the glass vials the lenses came in, I soaked the lenses overnight so I could wear them the next day (this is really important! Don't get too excited and put them in straight away!) The left lens was relatively comfortable but holy mother of God the right lens hurt like craaazy! :< I found out it wasn't the lens' fault though, it was mine, because there was a small piece of lint on the inside of it.
After wearing these for a month now, I'm relatively used to it. Sometimes I can still feel that there are lenses in my eyes (which you shouldn't be) but really, it doesn't bother me too much.

Appearance wise, these lenses are quite possibly the most natural ones out there. They have a limbal ring (a dark circle around the lens to enlarge your eyes) but they honestly look so natural that no one noticed anything about my eyes. They look orange-brown in the lens case but on my eyes, which are dark brown, they almost appear to be black... Which gives off the more 'innocent' vibe, if that's what you're looking for. They weren't HUGE, per se, but just gave a slight enlarging effect. Not ridiculously doll like.

Looks a lot better with some eye makeup. Not as alien-like.

 Flash.

 They look orange huh?

From far away, they look relatively natural.

In conclusion, I do recommend these lenses to anyone who is looking for natural lenses (there are gray ones too!). They are quite comfortable, as long as you keep them clean and hygienic. Keep in mind that these are 14.5mm in diameter and last for a year (but you should throw them out and replace them in 6 months. I don't know how safe it really is to wear the same lenses for a year.. ew). Also, Honeycolor has pretty quick shipping and processing time (considering that these are prescribed and they had to ship from their warehouse in Malaysia to Australia). They're not particularly great with responding to emails and such, but oh well. What can you do...

Comfort: 8/10 (wore these for 8 hours straight, I'm fine without eyedrops)
Enlargement: 6/10 (great if you want to go au naturale)
Colour: 9/10
Design: 10/10
Service: 8/10

French Nails!~ (Formal/prom nail trial)

So.. I have my school formal coming up near the end of this month and I'm not allowed to get my nails done professionally. I was thinking of just doing regular French nails until I found out my best friend was going with it already :< Here's a sloppy trial I just did on my left hand. It's a variation of the regular French nail, with rhinestones :) Eek. I just realised, I probably have to do my own makeup too. :<

Paypal Update: REFUNDED

Soo...
Paypal decided the case was in my favour:

"Hello Tanya Le,

We have concluded our investigation into your case and have decided in your
favour.

We were able to recover $15.00 USD, and this amount has been credited to
you. Please allow five business days for this adjustment to be posted."

That was a pretty smooth process. Still waiting on Honeycolor.com's lenses to arrive though ^-^

Still wouldn't recommend mycandyeyes to anyone ._.

Once my lenses arrive (EOS  Max Pure Brown) , I might do a quick review on them, depending on how much time I have after I finish all my school work -dies-.

My Candy Eyes UPDATE~ (And Honeycolor too!)

Helloooo (:
So it's been exactly a month from when I ordered from mycandyeyes.com. Um... Yeah it's also been a week since I opened up the dispute. Paypal's just waiting for their input, but they don't seem to be responding to it. My status still says processing though. Good work mycandyeyes! -hints heavy sarcasm-

And with honeycolor, they haven't replied to any of my emails, BUT, they actually have sent me an email this morning, confirming that they shipped my lenses out 3 days ago, and that they should be arriving on the 4th of June! So, that super fast processing, considering the fact that I ordered lenses with prescription =D

MyCandyEyes - Filing Dispute with Paypal

Update: So I filed a dispute a few days ago with paypal, they're now looking into it. MyCandyEyes are still ignoring my emails, possibly because I asked for a refund. I actually think there might be something wrong with their system this month, because a few people have not been getting anything from them for the past month or so. This one girl had an order from a month ago which she never received and they're not replying to her emails either. I ordered the same lenses from honeycolor.com, I'm hoping I get them soon.
